I am a first year student in Accounting, Financial Management and Control at Bocconi University and I would like to apply for a summer internship at Deutsche Bank. During my undergraduate program, especially during my foreign experience and with my trading club, I have developed an interest in how investment and corporate finance institutions operate. I consider an internship at Deutsche Bank as an invaluable opportunity to learn more about markets interactions and how individual business units operate.

Bocconi invited me to participate in “Bocconi Deutsche Bank open House” in Milan. In that occasion, I had the chance to interact with ..., one of your managing directors. I was particularly fascinated by Deutsche Bank’s working environment as explained by your colleague. I would be thus particularly keen to be part of your team in order to apply my analytical skills and my problem solving aptitude in high-pressure conditions. I think that my installed knowledge and experience could validly be tested in a global bank like Deutsche Bank. 

In my life, I developed strong multitasking skills by efficiently balancing studies, my passion for piano, and some volunteering experiences. During my third undergraduate year, I was selected for the exchange program in .... This experience, as an Exchange student, granted me a sense of versatility that allows me to effectively perform in diverse circumstances, as my foreign excellent grades show. In addition, the exchange program helped me in developing an open mind by studying through different work groups with people from all over the world. 

I am particularly interested in applying for this internship because I firmly believe that this experience could be a springboard for a career in investment banking, allowing me to practically implement what I am studying during my graduate program.
