Sample cover letter for Internship position at Disney

POSITION:

Intern

GOT THE JOB? Yes

Dear Sir or Madam,

My name is (…) and I am (...). I have studied my entire life at (…) and finished my high school in 2010. In the very next year, 2011, I started university taking Economics and International Relations. Taking two undergraduate degrees is indeed a challenge; it requires responsibility, dedication and a lot of organization. This current year (2015) is my last year at both universities and before the chances passes I want to be able to be a part of a program that I heard a lot during my studying years.

When applying to Disney’s International College Program, I hope to have a unique experience in my education and my life as well. That’s because not only I get the chance to live and work with people from all around the world, (meeting new people and making new friends) but also I would be learning new things about the work itself, about people and about myself. To be a part in the International College Program is a two-way lane, because interacting with people from several different nationalities and personal histories fixes my world perception (“my myopia”) infinitely, but also I can help with my own history and my own experiences.

This opportunity is unique and very important to my future, it would help developing my working skills and my teamwork but also would help me to improve greatly in my resume for my (very soon to come) professional life. It would also be a great experience of staying in an incredible place, where I could have good moments and create friendships that would last for the rest of my life.

To me Walt Disney World will be a place to learn, to observe, to grow as a person and as a human being. I can’t imagine a place with such diversity of people, both in its staff and guests. The wonderful world of Disney will certainly be a special place to work in. A single and unique adventure.

Best Regards,
