Sample cover letter for Internship position at Disney

POSITION:

Intern

Katie Morris

June 29, 2015

Dear Mr./Ms:

I am writing in regards to your posting for the production internship for Fall 2015. My name is Katherine Morris and I am a recent Film Studies graduate from the University of North Georgia. For as long as I can remember, I have loved the art of storytelling. I hope to convey this love through my knowledge of production, photography, and traditional art by sharing the characters of the people around me, the beauty of the places I go, and most importantly, by expressing the visions of my clients. My passion for the visualizing power of film has led me down a road I never saw coming. Working behind the camera while a story is being produced for the big screen is very rewarding. Not only do I hope to express the director's vision of the film in my stills, but I also hope to be one of the many people who make that vision a reality.

I would appreciate the opportunity to speak with you in person regarding how my skills might best meet your needs.

I may be reached by phone at (678) XXX-XXXX, or alternately by email [email protected] I would like to thank you in advance for your consideration.

Sincerely,

Katie Morris
