Within over one year, our company has significantly expanded—sales have developed from 0 to monthly over 2 million EUR. Growing along with company expansion, I deeply realized the importance of the leader role. Instead of ordering people to complete work by position, integrating isolated departments to work together autonomously as a leader would be much more efficient and beneficial to a company. I aim to be a business leader. MBA would be a wise path guiding me to reach this goal.

My long-term career goal is to take a general management position in an automotive manufacturer. As one of the largest markets with a huge population potential, numerous automotive companies make investments here, and they require managers with both comprehensively managerial skills and knowledge of market. In short term, I desire to work in an automotive corporation in Germany for supply chain related work to practice theories I learnt in school and gain experience of industry.

Another reason for pursuing MBA is because I wish to become a representative for women in business. Many historical studies have demonstrated higher proportion of women in management would contribute better business performance. The new generation of women in China have been better educated than ever before, but still have very limited positions in top management. Due to a lack of confidence, women used to underestimate their abilities and rarely negotiate for themselves in the workplace. Being a female leader, I would be more attentive to encourage and support these women with potential to chase their own career dreams.
