Sample cover letter for Full Time position at EY
Assurance
I am a final year student at the University of Melbourne majoring in Accounting and Finance. With the utmost enthusiasm, I would like to express my interest in the assurance position at Ernst and Young. By attending EY’s online company presentation, I was very excited learning about EY’s culture and professionalism. I believe that my following attributes make me an ideal candidate for EY.
-Quantitative minded: I have completed an internship as a general accountant in xx. Through this experience of dealing with transactions and assisted preparing monthly report, I have gained well-developed accounting, teamwork and analytical skills.
-Communication: I am a people person and very good at communicating with others, which could be shown in my previous experience as a customer service intern in cc. During this experience, through effectively communicating and managing relationship with the clients, I have exceeded the monthly goal for intern by 50% and been awarded as the best intern at that month.
-Team contributor: I am currently working as a project consultant with xx, a digital marketing company with expertise in employer branding. Throughout the project, my group is collaborating with a number of HR partners to improve DA’s current branding product towards a worldwide launch. During this project, despite my contribution to the project itself, I have been the person to always manage the time of meeting our progress, and also when there is a disagreement within the team, I have been performing as the mediator to connect our group together.
-Cross-Functional Leadership: my leadership skill could be demonstrated by my treasurer position in xx to manage the financial status of the entire club, as well as my student ambassador position in CPA Australia to organize presentations for the promotion of on-campus events, and sign-ups sessions for CPA networks.
I have attached a copy of my resume for your reference. I look forward to hearing from you in the near future. Thank you very much for your time and consideration.
