During the course of my studies, I was able maintain a strong academic record and develop essential skills beyond the class room curriculum. Besides working part-time at my local community on a health and youth development project as the project manager, I accepted a leadership role in Sales and External Relations at AIESEC, the world’s largest student-run non-profit organization, and participated in an exchange year in Shanghai at Fudan University as a recipient of the Chinese Government Scholarship. In addition, I challenged myself to experience several internships, including as a Sales Support Intern at Huber+Suhner (Shanghai), as a Securities Lending and Financing Intern at UBS AG, and as a Structured Lending Intern at Credit Suisse AG to expand my knowledge and skill set.

My most recent internship experience at Credit Suisse AG in the Structured Lending department has given me an opportunity to learn about a very versatile and complex business, and furthermore gain invaluable experience within the banking industry. The Structured Lending team at Credit Suisse AG provides lending and debt financing capabilities to multinational corporates and UHNW clients. From this experience, I was able to develop essential skills relating to transactional services including assessing credit risks, analyzing financial statements, providing due diligence reports, as well as building financial models for cash-flow projections. The expertise within the team has had an enormous impact on my development and has enabled me to gain industry-relevant knowledge and analytical skills. Furthermore, I was also able to further enhance my interpersonal and communication skills.
