I’m writing to express interest in the 2017 summer Assurance – External Audit Intern position posted on the Redhawk Network. I’m currently enrolled at Seattle University  I feel that my education background, work experience and skills would make me a great candidate for this position.

My university education in accounting and 2 years education in information system prepared me with knowledge of accounting procedures, skills on data processing, proficiency in basic Microsoft software, and spirit of teamwork. From my past work experiences, I have gained knowledge on practice accounting procedures through my job as an Accounting Assistant. I also improved my communication skills by teaching students accounting classes in the tutoring center. As an office assistant, I became familiar with operations in the workplace.

In addition to education and work experience, I’m also an active member in the community. I just joined the Albers Graduate Students Association as a representative. I used to work as President of Golden Key International Society to involve international students in US university life. These activities not only enhanced my leadership and time management skills, but also made me contribute to the community I lived in.
