I was made aware of this graduate business leader scheme through the career section on the Ecclesiastical website. My educational background along with my experiences I feel make me well suited to this field of work.

I have worked as an intern at a charity and this experience has improved my team working and leadership skills as well as my ability to multitask. I’ve also worked in retail and have developed strong customer service and communication skills as a result. I’m currently working part time as a maths tutor and arrange classes on a weekly basis covering statistics and core A-level modules.

The insurance sector excites me for several reasons. I have a passion for people and helping them meet their needs and I’m fascinated with the wide range of products offered to hedge risks for clients. Alongside this, I have a strong interest in maths and finance and believe studying Financial Economics has given me a good understanding of the mechanics behind risk management. Being a pragmatist and a quick learner, I believe the insurance environment will allow me to excel when work with variables are not easily measurable.

As a firm, I am impressed with the numerous achievements Ecclesiastical has obtained. This is demonstrated by winning the Risk Management Initiative of the Year in the recent BIA awards.
