While searching for summer internships with sustainably minded advertising agencies in Austin, Texas, I came across the Account Service Internship with EnviroMedia. I am writing to demonstrate my interest in working for EnviroMedia, and to submit my materials so that I may be considered for the internship position.

I believe my skills and talents meet the needs outlined in the internship description. My work with both the Environmental Studies Department and the Sustainability Office at [XXX] College provide me with a great deal of experience working in groups to tackle a variety of sustainability issues. Additionally, my environmental studies and marketing coursework provide me with a strong background in sustainable communications that would serve me well at EnviroMedia.

In my roles as Research and Administrative Assistants, I developed the necessary skills for managing a variety of tasks and taking initiative to organize various projects and assignments. As an intern for the Sustainability Office and the Provost Finance Office, I conducted administrative related research requiring both outreach and data entry, making me highly proficient with Microsoft Excel as well as other Microsoft Office programs. Additionally, as a current student who has taken a variety of Humanities and Liberal Arts courses, I have developed strong writing skills for the workplace.

As a varsity athlete, I have learned the importance of teamwork and the value of a positive attitude. The sport has helped me become extremely self-motivated in all aspects of my life, and as a result, I posses the strong organizational and prioritization skills necessary for coordinating andmanaging events and clients.I am a fast learner and a hard worker who understands what it is like to manage a busy schedule and multitask effectively.

Additionally, my work as an instructor and my involvement in a sorority and various clubs has taught me how to project energy and enthusiasm. I have a great deal of experience working with others, and through my various positions, I have acquired the interpersonal skills necessary for agency life. I thoroughly enjoy working with a wide variety of people, and my strong communication skills and energetic personality would allow me to easily collaborate and coordinate with clients.

My strong organization skills and attention to detail would also be beneficial to this position, and I hope to bring my skill sets to EnviroMedia. The opportunity to work with a well-established and reputable green advertising agency is highly appealing, and the ability to learn from others and engage in the daily workings of EnviroMedia excites me.
