I wish to apply for Summer Internship and Full Time opportunities at Equinix. Being a professional from Management and Technical background I was immediately drawn to this position as an opportunity to get an exposure in the field of my interest. It is my passion to work in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics which is evident from all my academic projects and work experience.

My internship at Trivia Softwares (6 months), a premier web designing company, boosted my interest in the field of Database technology. I also developed client interaction skills and got well versed with tools and technologies like Oracle SQL 11g, MS Visual Studio 2010 etc. My technical proficiency and internship experience provided me with a full time opportunity to work as an Executive in IT Application at Kotak Ace Commodity Exchange. I had hands on experience in Business Intelligence and DBMS tools like SSRS, SSAS, PLSQL Developer, SQL Server 2012 etc. Analyzing the company’s database, fixing queries and extracting the MIS Reports were a part of my daily job. I also possess the knowledge of TABLEAU, Business Intelligence and Analytics software and had participated in ‘One-Day Big Data Analytics competition’ hosted by Pluto 7 at Santa Clara University – Leavey School of Business.

I believe that my success in real-life assignments is a product of dedication and hard work. I am a creative person and often think in a contemplative way about various issues of practical importance. Being able to identify patterns and relationships that are not obvious to others is perhaps my greatest strength. I possess the motivation, the intellectual caliber and the preparation to set out on the exhilarating path of new learning, with full faith in my ability to do justice to all the opportunities I get at the organization.

Considering my academic background and my past work experience, substantiated with my interest in Business Intelligence and Data Visualization I feel Equinix to be the best place to prove myself. My potential to accept challenges and my passion to work in this domain will definitely prove an asset to the organization.
