Given my strong interest in human rights and development efforts, I am majoring in International Development in McGill’s Faculty of Arts. Your internship posting on McGill’s Art’s Internship Office interested me particularly as I enjoy organizing and coordinating activities which would fall under my jurisdiction as coordination assistant.

I believe that my work as Secretary of French Honor Society during my senior year of high school has trained me well for the coordination tasks at hand. Arranging trips to the local Alliance Francaise Center, organizing documents and attendance forms and facilitating communication between the council members, teachers and other participants constituted the majority of my responsibilities. Sometimes required to work independently and other times as part of a group, I am prepared for the tasks that being coordination assistant would require of me.

As Senator of the Student Council in my sophomore year of high school, I often had to organize fundraisers to raise money for various school activities. Being a team player to the core and yet able to work independently and efficiently when required ensuring the delivery of a comprehensively completed task,makes me a strong candidate for this position.

I would appreciate the opportunity to apply my abilities to benefit Equitas and the International Human Rights Training Program to the best of my capabilities as coordination assistant.I look forward to hearing your response.
