In my free time, I enjoy playing for my local football team and was also the assistant coach for the Thames Valley Youth team. The extra-curricular activities I have mentioned above, to me, contribute a large extent in honing my personality, self-discipline, dedication and confidence.

When visiting a foreign exchange trading session at the Macdonald Windsor Hotel, I was fascinated to learn how simple algorithms were the reason that people could win or lose billions of dollars in a matter of seconds. It was this interest that had given me the motivation to learn how to trade foreign currencies by myself, with the help of online tutorials and seminars. Activities in school have helped me enjoy Mathematics and pick up employability skills. For example, given the responsibility of being the money budgeter on my Morocco expedition gave me a valuable insight into handling large sums of money and made me more confident in expressing my ideas with clarity. It was this confidence and experience that had later stimulated me into starting an eBay business. The business has surpassed all my expectations, shipping more than 400 items overseas and bringing in excess of £10,000 in revenue, all in the space of 7 months. These opportunities have helped me strengthen several traits such as being able to take sensible risks, become more independent and understand the important of planning for the future.
