Dear Human Resources Department,
I am a Biomedical Engineer from Arizona State University’s Ira A. Fulton’s Schools of Engineering with a B.S.E. in Biomedical Engineering (BME) and a Minor in Business. My professional experience path has focused on quality engineering for medical device products.
Throughout my collegiate tenure I have learned an exorbitant amount both academically and personally.Having pursued a degree in Biomedical Engineering, I have been educated in a wide array of technical areas.I have tackled a plethora of difficult courses under my umbrella of study that have challenged my technical abilities and tested both my character and academic endurance. Upon finishing my degree I made the choice to begin my industry experience in quality engineering.During my tenure at MDI, I sincerely enjoyed the tedious process of technical documentation, utilizing six sigma principles and my attention to detail to effectively drive the quality department.I was trained on multiple state of the art metrology equipment, where I effectively gathered and monitored measurement data in real-time.I managed and implemented the continuous improvement team meetings and with it, successfully met high industry standards and adhered to stringent regulatory requirements. The results generated from the group significantly cut costs in scrap and MRB, saving the company time, money and labor.I am seeking to expand my knowledge base and increase my exposure to the medical device field, working with larger medical device companies and industry professionals.I hope to implement my skills into a well recognize company where I can continue to nurture and hone my experience while meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
As mentioned earlier, a degree in Biomedical Engineering spans a scope of engineering principles targeted at the complex intricacies of the human body.It is there that I found many interests in; however, there are some aspects of the field that have captured my attention and curiosity.Topics include tissue engineering and regenerative medicine applications, materials engineering, biomechanics and biotechnology.
In my extracurricular life, I enjoy a wide array tasks and hobbies that implore my physical and creative strengths.I enjoy the outdoors where I play soccer, skateboard, cycle and snowboard.I like to practice target shooting and hunting, carefully paying attention to safety precautions involved in the sport.I strive to lead a healthy lifestyle and weight train in order to keep my body fit and as active as my mind.In my free time I like to use various artistic mediums to draw and paint alike. In addition to these activities I like to play guitar as I thoroughly enjoy and am motivated by many types of music.I enjoy traveling and experiencing new places and cultures. My professional credentials and skill sets may be seen in the attached resume.
Sincerest Regards,
