Sample cover letter for Internship position at Forum 2000

Dear Sir or Madam,

I write you because I would love to become a volunteer at Forum 2000, which is going to take place from 11^th to 15^th October 2014.

I came across this event on the web mladiinfo.cz and I have immediately taken a liking for it and decided to give you a hand with the organisation.

I am convinced that I can be very useful being an independent hard worker, who can come up with new ideas and adjust to many different environments.

Last year I volunteered in a FIS Nordic Junior and Under 23 World Ski Championship. There I hold the position of Attaché of Slovenian men and women teams, Chinese women and Dutch men Ski Jumping teams. It had some things common with being an assistant – I accompanied them to trainings, helped them with transport and everything they needed. It was me who solved the unexpected problems.

Moreover I am an active volunteer in AFS which organises studying abroad for high-school students. Therefore I have experience with foreigners and different customs. I organise weekend camps for them and other additional activities.

Apart from English, I have knowledge of French and Spanish language.

I am at ease adjusting to new circumstances. And I am quite enquiring and when I always try to become familiar with new things. I find the variety of opinions indeed fascinating – I am fond of listening to ideas which are inovative, and discussions about variable thoughts.

I am into politics and current affairs in general. I find myself communicative.

I find Forum 2000 an ideal event for me. I consider it a great opportunity as I can meet with the elite of the entire world. Moreover I would guide them and help them if there was a problem. I am convinced I can learn a lot from them and I would like to do so.

I think I can also bring to the team. For instance an inovative approach, experience (mentioned above) and so on.

From the offered positions I consider the position of assistent the most suitable for myself.
