I take immense pleasure in applying to the ISS Online Content GANT position at Texas A&M University, College Station. 

I am pursuing my Master’s in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M College Station. With a belief that ‘Knowledge is Power Supreme’, the right way towards progress is imparting/ receiving education through the effective design of course curriculum. Today’s world changing technology and the access to complex tools and techniques have not only brought people and places closer but also made it possible to gather and analyze quantum of data with few button clicks.

Teaching is a very noble profession and with adequate curriculum design, this process of information give and take can be made highly productive and enhance the overall experience for both, the faculty and the students.

I am a self- driven initiator with an entrepreneurial mindset and have been at the forefront of some fashion-based and education-based startups. This involved me to develop business plans, conduct surveys, gather and analyze data and then proceed with the product development and promotion. A successful and rewarding education startup is one which caters to the current industry trends and provides a holistic learning approach and experience to seekers.

Being a student in India, UAE and now in the USA, not only do I understand the psychology of the student but will also bring to the table a rich and varied educational experience. As a former Graduate Electrical Engineer in Petrofac Intl. Ltd., a Multinational Oil & Gas EPC, I appreciate how closely the course curriculum relates to the industry. Thus a changing industry requires us to redefine and redesign the course curriculums for a better mutual future. I also have had an experience in preparing High School students for engineering entrance examinations which required me to design effective and detailed subject course curriculums.

I have a clear understanding of seven step decisions to be made in developing an effective curriculum guide and am also well aware of the assessment as well as computational tools used in this process and hence will be a good fit for the position.

I wish to work in this domain because of the unprecedented satisfaction that I will derive by positively impacting the lives and learning experiences of the students. I will, with the additional rich experience I will accumulate by working as GANT, contribute to the field of education and try to take the education startup to the next stage and continue doing the noble work of changing lives.

Responsible and dedicated towards all my undertakings, I have held positions such as High School House Captain, EEE Batch Representative in College, Supervisor at Levy’s Restaurant, etc. I am amicable and an easily approachable person who is disciplined and hard working. I am flexible and willing to learn, unlearn and relearn new things to achieve excellence and deliver results. I have a good academic background and am interested in working with you and transforming the learning experience of the students and in turn positively impacting their careers which will foster advancements in industry as a whole.
