Accounting intern
Dear Recruiter,
I am writing to express my keen interest in the Student Leadership and Growth Conference hosted by Crowe Horwath Global Risk Consulting. Particularly excited about this opportunity to network with one of the most prestigious risk consulting firms as well as the huge learning potential associated with it, I am eager to join the dynamic team of accounting and risk professionals and put into practice the skills acquired through my academic and professional experiences.
As a first-year Accounting and Financial Management student at University of Waterloo, I have developed and fine-tuned invaluable skills including the ability to analyze complex problems, articulate my opinions in a professional manner, and succeed in an exceptionally competitive environment. Indicated by my excellent academic standing, I am a quick learner who possesses a proactive attitude and aptitude for learning which enables me to become a direct beneficiary of this conference.
In addition to education, my professional experiences have provided me with the insights and skills necessary to work in such a professional context. My organizational and analytical skills were sharpened while working with tasks related to risk management, corporate finance and cost accounting as a team leader at GCC Optimize Case Competition. And at Linbao Pharmaceutical in China, I had the opportunity to observe and participate in the financial reporting of a renowned drug company while my knowledge and enthusiasm for accounting grew significantly. Acquired through those experiences, my dedicated passion for accounting, analytical mind and strong leadership skills would make me a great candidate to this conference.
I feel certain that I can quickly learn and accept Crowe’s exceptional culture and values by being inquisitive, teachable, and results-oriented. I appreciate your consideration of this application, and I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Mike Guan
