I am applying for a position as summer equity research analyst as part of the Launching Leaders program.I have an avid interest in the markets and particurally enjoy evaluating companies and generating recommendation.There is no better place to learn and grow in equity research than JP Morgan, which is evident in your number one ranking in the field.I am a Sophomore at Harvard College concentrating in Economics and Minoring in Sociology.I have had the privledge of completing two financial services.In the summer following my senior year of high school I had an opportunity in the wealth management division of Morgan Stanley with the Jackson Group, and this past summer at Quicken Loans as an intern in the office of the chairman.

I believe that my experience has uniquely prepared me to create reports that add significant value to clients, and also excel in the team enviorment.This past summer I had an incredible opportunity to intern for Dan Gilbert the majority owner of Quicken Loans and the Clevland Cavaliers.My job was primarily comprised of participating in meetings, executing project bestowed on me by senior leaders and creating and executing several projects of my own projects.One experience that stood out to me in particular was an opportunity to sit on a call with the CEO of your firm regarding the refinancing of debt on Dan’s casino properties along with JP Morgans involvement within the city of Detroit.
