GOT THE JOB? Yes
Dear Recruitment Team,
I am a self-motivated, driven and enthusiastic individual who is capable and confident at exhibiting initiative. I thrive under pressure and work well in an environment where precision and timing is crucial. My academic and professional experience has enabled me to develop a better understanding of financial markets. I am able to use mathematical techniques to model scenarios that require solutions in finance and business.
I was previously a Risk Consultant (internship) at ICE. This role has had a variety of responsibilities which have furthered my knowledge and skills. I maintained and supported the already established reporting and data processes which involved coordinating with the risk teams to enhance data quality and to understand the trends and movements within the portfolios. I helped in the automation process of the reporting tools to produce regulatory reports (FED) and internal reports (senior management) using a wide range of software, some of these include Business Object, SQL and VBA. In addition I helped developed internal Scorecards analyzing the performance of sub-businesses, created and modified SQL procedures and Excel spreadsheets.
This opportunity to work for you is particularly attractive to me as it would offer me the opportunity to gain real hands on experience in a dynamic and varied working environment. You offer a tremendous amount of training, a steep on-the-job learning curve, a competitive work environment, and talented people to work with. As a result, I believe it offers the best opportunity to enhance my skill set and apply it on a real-life and current basis. I have significant professional work experience working for large organisations, including roles which involved me speaking face to face with clients on a daily basis. Having worked as part of a team within several companies, I understand the structure, culture and priorities of how a large organization works and the importance of team work and communication.
By combining my existing knowledge and experience with an ongoing intellectual development in the inspiring and challenging environment of General Electric, I am confident that I can continue to make great strides towards achieving my potential as a Credit Risk Analyst
I look forward to hearing from you.
