I am writing in response to the Analyst position offered by Goldman Sachs. This experience will let me pursue my passion in the investment industry and will prepare me well to face future challenges.
My experience through the University life has prepared me well. The recession of 2008-2009 not only attracted me to the stock markets but also ended up being my passion for life. This passion of mine, made me churn through hundreds of annual reports & research reports, great investor writings & speeches. In other words, I spent half of my academic study time understanding businesses and reading & analyzing financial statements, thereby preparing me well for this job. In fact it made me confident in managing $... along with making investment suggestions to others.
Other experiences like leading a team for an award winning technology start-up idea, being part of many proactive organizations has made me confident of managing a team efficiently and bringing out the best in all.
Currently, I am preparing for XYZ exam exam which is a work half done without hands on experience in the industry. Goldman Sachs always looks for passionate, experienced and confident individuals for the position and I feel I am the candidate worthy for the job.
