I would like to express my interest in the graduate position in Investment management at Goldman Sachs. It is my intention to work and learn from world-class company where there is room for fresh talent to learn and grow with and within the firm. On speaking to current employees and previous interns, it confirms Goldman Sachs as an optimal choice. I always had keen interest in financial markets and my degree and internship experience helped to further this interest. The modules I took gave thorough understanding of financial products and risk management techniques.
I have great deal of passion for financial markets and have demonstrated this during my internship at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. During my internship I learned various aspects of money market, foreign exchange and fixed income market due to exposure to funding desk activities. I assisted the treasury traders in creating a synthetic fund transfer pricing curve which is currently used by them to price internal liquidity sourcing.
I have a drive to learn and progress in any opportunity. During my placement at The Walt Disney Company I developed key interpersonal and analytical skills in no time and took opportunity to present weekly market performance analysis to the senior management for the EMEA region.
Along with my academics and Internship experience, I write weekly newsletter based on my analysis of the financial market for a particular currency product. My passion for financial markets, my work experience and my university education, has I feel been excellent preparation for this role. It would be my intention to lay foundation of my career from Goldman Sachs, being world’s most respected financial services firm.
