As an analyst in Goldman Sachs Capital Market Operations, it is the ideal location in which I can realise these aspirations. By partnering with clients and other divisions, I can help realise the aspirations and goals of both client and business, whilst satisfying my own values of effective and responsible tangible results. Through my studies I have strengthened my analytical skills. The study of ideology and complex theoretical frameworks has given me a keen eye for detail, and a swift judgement in identifying anomalies and potential discrepancies. My aptitude for hard work and time management is demonstrated by my employment at a sushi restaurant during the summer vacations. It was there that I discovered the pleasure in interaction and communication between both colleague and customer. A role as an Operations Analyst therefore allows me to combine the technical with human elements. Identifying problems through close monitoring, and working within a team to solve and improve processes. Participation in team sports, such as rowing has formed me into a valuable team player. At the same time, I am comfortable working independently and adapt to different roles quickly.
