As a first year student of XXXXXXXX at the XXXXXXX with future goals in banking, I am most interested in your Citi Quest programme. Having just taken part in the Corporate Banking game and spoken to Citi Bank representatives at a campus presentation, I was most impressed with the diversity of clients, ranging from individuals to entire nations, and also by the supportive yet challenging ethos at Citibank. As you will see from my enclosed CV I meet your requirements in full and would benefit greatly from this early opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the world of corporate banking alongside leading professionals.
Organising my personal schedules during my studies, incorporating part time work and other activities, has given me a real appreciation of time management as well as the ability to work methodically under pressure. I believe wholeheartedly in the pooling of ideas and resources toward a common goal and am an effective part of any team.
Alongside my academic studies I am following the Professional Skills Curriculum which has provided additional aspects such as leadership, communication and planning to my skillset. Weekly events and investment societies throughout the university have enabled me to get a feeling for the working atmosphere in Investment Banking. Relocating 3000km to XXXXXX my communication skills, confidence and ability to adapt to new and changing environments, all skills which will serve me well within the Citi Quest programme and on into my future in banking.
As a determined and conscientious student I am keen to incorporate such an opportunity into my first year of studies and Citigroup would be my first choice, Citi Quest is a highly respected programme in which I intend to realise some of my future potential and hopefully access further opportunities.
