I am currently a x student. I was struck by the level of commitment the bank has to its interns and level of training, and it is this excellence that I strive for in my career path.

I am applying to the Global Investment Research division, with a particular interest in economics research. I have a natural curiosity of the wider world and would love to develop this professionally in the field of macroeconomic research under the professional guidance of the Goldman Sachs team.

Although I have had no formal financial training, I am a fast learner and a longstanding interest with markets and the industry. As a fast learner, I believe this will enable me to immediately grasp financial modeling techniques.

I recognise the importance of team member skills, and have developed these through my extra-curricular activities. All of these commitments in conjunction with my major-minor degree have polished my time management, which I know is necessary for working at a world-class bank such as Goldman Sachs.
