POSITION:

Film/video

Dear hiring manager,

I am a sophomore at x who is interested in applying for your Film/Video internship position currently available for this summer. As someone that is very passionate about environmental conservation and sustainability, I am drawn to this position as an opportunity to make a positive impact that spreads global awareness to the lives of youth.

My studies in film and digital media have given me experience in a broad range of media forms across the visual field. I have created several pieces involving 3D animation, photography, video art, and video installation that have secreted my passion for films, while also teaching me the fundamentals of multimedia production.  I can think of no better organization that will allow me to gain more hands on film knowledge than working with a team that selects and assembles the components of the CBS interactive news and entertainment sites.

Furthermore, my employment experiences have also strengthened my work ethic. Working in fast paced environments has made me develop strong communication skills essential to while learning to multi-task with efficiency, be attentive to details and work successfully in groups or independently.

This internship would be an invaluable opportunity for me to apply my skills as a film student, while learning more about the production side of the entertainment industry. I am confident that I will bring a great touch of high energy and positivity to the team at H20 For Life. Thank you for your consideration, and I look forward to speaking with you soon.

Sincerely,
