With reference to the Business Analyst Internship position which is currently advertised on www.hp.com/go/jobs and with the desire to work with a dynamic company with a fast-pace environment filled with exciting challenges as well as opportunities, Ienclose my resume for your review.
I am currently a second year student in ABC University – a top UK business education institute. My study focuses on Operations Management and Marketing. This is where I have learnt and developed my understanding in various functions of management and core concepts of marketing, including proficient use of Microsoft Office and the practice of analysing tools such as SAP, SPSS, etc. Also, my high results in mathematic modules indicate my strong numerical skills. I believe that this valuable knowledge that I have gained will certainly support for Internship role.
Throughout the 7 group coursework's I have completed during this academic year, I have been elected as a group leader in 5 of them. The key behind my success to working in team is that the team entrust me in organizing and teamwork skills, where I have been able to illustrate my ability to communicate with group members, initiate ideas and discussion to improve the assignment.
As an active person, I have participated in many different social activities, such as Project XYZ which gave me the chance to go to Africa for 5 weeks during summer 2010 in order to help poor children by building schools and teaching classes. My time working within the ABC Society and SIFE at ABC University have also developed my communication and organizing skills further. One of the best demonstrations of this was during February 2010 when I worked as an event organizer in ABC Society and director of Chinese New Year Decoration Team, during which there was a high requirement for time management and team working. I believe that my ability to adapt quickly with the situation and maintain strong relationship with members resulted in an unforgettable time for more than 1000 people who joined the event.
