I have accumulated useful knowledge across various industries through my practical internship experience. A valuable experience was working for Cheetah Investment Management Limited as an intern for the Fund Operations department, during which I engaged with and provided support to the manager. My main tasks included preparing daily Financial Resources Rules reports complying with the company and FRR standard and researching major stock incidents in Hong Kong such as the penny stock incident. From completing these tasks, not only did I gain knowledge of the practical tasks of investment management as well as related recent history in HK, but I also developed my analytical skills and honed my ability to pay attention to details.

During my time at Pokeguide HK Limited as a summer intern in the Project Management Team, I was immersed in the spirit of an entrepreneur company, which focus on solving a common problem among younger generations – being on time. Pokeguide taught me to always be passionate, proactive, and fearless in speaking out about my ideas and following through with them. An example would be when I actively contributed my ideas during a discussion about the company’s current and future business strategy, whereby I pitched my idea of designing a new function on the app that targets disabled people in order to expand our customer base in addition to improving HK disabled people’s mobility. After the team decided to develop this new function, I was able to follow through and further develop my idea by researching habits of disabled people in HK and making observations regarding their behavior in the MTR.

I am confident that the combination of my determined and outcome-oriented personality, solid educational background, and working expertise has equipped me to make an immediate contribution to HSBC.
