My name is xx and I am currently a senior at xxx majoring in Finance. I was recently informed about the 2014 spring internship program via LinkedIn career services. I am highly interested in mergers & acquisitions industry, and I write this letter to express my wish to apply for the Undergraduate Mergers & Acquisitions 2014 Spring Internship.
I am very passionate about the finance services industry and eager to learn more. My academic background and work experience have provided me with skills and a deep understanding of the capital markets.
During the past summer, I interned at China Merchant Securities in Beijing, China. I participated in an energy service company’s initial offering in the OTC market deal, in which the company would raise 13 million shares in the National Equities Exchange.
On campus, I co-founded and worked as President in Kappa Eta Phi, a professional fraternity, for a year. Through this experience leading a fraternity of fifty members, managing an executive team of fifteen, and coordinating diversified events, I have become highly team oriented and open-minded and honed my communication skill. I also had the opportunity to start an educational consulting group, which enhanced my client dealing skill.
