I am presently a postgraduate student studying for a MSc in Sport Business Management at Sheffield Hallam University.

I am highly motivated to contribute positively to the sports industry and it is my goal to help athletes and teams become household names.

Professional athletes and teams are already at the top, but the route to the top is the area that I aspire to be involved in.

As a part of my course, I have an opportunity to do a work based learning project. I am very interested in marketing and branding and would be keen to contribute to any programs you are working on or perhaps develop a project for you in the future.

The details of the placement are as follows:

1) From the 30th May to the 19th August 2014, but there is a degree of flexibility around these dates.

2) Placement hosts will be paid a fee of at least £700 to cover supervision costs.

3) I will complete a15,000 word research project, on a topic to be negotiated with yourselves.

4) The University asks for an individual within the host organisation to act as a work place mentor. The mentor's role would include a degree of supervision of the student to include an induction meeting, and mid-point and exit meetings/reviews (this is what the £700 supervision fee is intended to cover).

5) The University would also require the completion of some forms confirming employer's liability insurance and you would be asked to complete simple risk assessment and health and safety forms for the placement.
