Dear Madam,
It is with great enthusiasm that I submit my application for the position of Sales Executive at Hilton Group, having stayed in many different Hiltons all over the world throughout my lifetime. As an Economics graduate and having short stints of job opportunities at 3 completely different industries in the past 4 years in 2 continents, I know my diverse skills and qualifications will make me an asset to the wonderful team at Hilton Zurich.
As you will see from the attached resume, I’ve tried and tested jobs in different fields to familiarize myself better with the various possibilities, mostly in small companies where I was not just confined to my role but also assisted managing directors, marketing and sales with drafting proposals, taking minutes of team meetings, participated in extensive market research and analysis for both Asia and Europe.
In addition to being flexible and responsive, I have keen eye for details – particularly when it comes to documentations. One of my recent projects involved preparing 5 documents for the Mechatronics exhibition. I proof read and edited proposals provided by the division head, cleaned the spreadsheets, and generally made sure every detail was in place and that the entire finished product conformed to the designated guidelines from the CEO. I believe in applying this same level of attention to detail to tasks as visible as prepping the materials for a top-level meeting and as mundane as making sure the machines never runs out of paper.
Last but certainly not least, I would like you to know that I have been envisioning being part of an international hoteling chain in Switzerland since I started planning for my future in high school. I have finally decided to apply for a job here after gaining several work experiences. I am very certain of my choice to be part of the Hilton Group of professionals-- to support, assist and contribute to this amazing firm. I am excited to see this vision become a reality.
