Sample cover letter for Full Time position at Hindalco

I am a final year student of commerce at XYZ College. I wish to apply for the position of Manager at the Mumbai office of Hindalco. I strongly believe that I am a suitable candidate for the post, due to I being hard working, dedicated, goal-oriented, problem solver and risk taker.

Throughout my school and college life, I have actively participated in extra-curricular activities. In school, I won a lot of quizzes and winning these quizzes, specially coming from a commerce background, gave me a confidence that right way of doing research can help me become an expert in any field. In college, I took an active part in organizing and hosting quiz competitions. I was in Quiz Society of the college. I also independently organized a lot of other events. I was the research head of The Economics Society. I am writing all of this to show that I worked with teams in college, invested a lot in developing my people skills, set goals for myself, lead people, achieved well set objectives and solved problems for a lot of the organisations. I was working on these projects simultaneously, and they gave me the ability to multi-task and still come out on top, as I was successfully able to achieve all the results that were needed for each of the positions of responsibility in college.
