I was excited to see your opening for the Internal Audit Intern Program on the Hologic career website. I had the great pleasure of meeting XXX and XXX at the networking event held at XXX University a few days ago. XXX shared their valuable insights on the Internal Audit function of Hologic and their experiences in various audit and advisory engagements with us. I really appreciate the opportunity of talking with them and learning about the exciting internship program in Hologic. I share the same belief with XXX that audit should be fun, and at the same time, really add value to business. My passion for internal audit, compliance monitoring, and risk analytics has been enhanced through core courses at XXX University include Internal Audit, Fraud and Forensic Accounting, Advanced Accounting Information Systems, Quantitative Analysis, Data Management, and System Modeling. I am a power user of MS Excel, PowerPoint and analytics tools such as R and Solver. As a graduate research assistant, I help professors conduct research regarding accounting controls, enterprise systems, and business education, using various databases and tools to analyze and summarize findings.

I am confident that my work experience and diversified educational background will prepare me for making a contribution to the Internal Audit function of Hologic.
