Respected Sir,
Sub: Request for Summer Internship.
I, Mahabisweswar Das, a pre-final year undergraduate student of an accredited course of Bachelor in MechanicalEngineering at National Institute of Technology, Warangal, will feel privileged if given an opportunity to thrive as an intern which will give a kick start to my career. Having acquired a good theoretical foundation from my curriculum I have naturally been drawn towards the fact that ,especially, in automobile industries what engineering efforts have to put to come up with new vehicles every time in such a huge competitive market with even more powerful features. Since I’m an ardent admirer of automobile, I’m eager to work on any projects related to automobiles. So, I wish to submit my requisition to work as an intern for a period of 6 to 8 weeks in summer of 2017(i.e., May- July, 2017).
As an undergraduate, I have balanced a rigorous course load and a number of extracurricular activities that have beautifully prepared me for this role. I have managed myself for last four semesters to have a CGPA of 7.04(on a scale of 10).In spite of this, I’m familiar with the packages like CATIA V5, Lotus shark & Autocad 2016. However, being a part of our collegiate “SAE India BAJA” team, I designed a wheel assembly part i.e., wheel hub on CATIA V5 and did the stress simulation on CATIA analysis workbench with properly calculated loading constraints to attain high weight to strength ratio, optimum factor of safety as well as with less geometrical complexity for better machinability. Alsodesigned the suspension system for front; calculating various installation parameters & designed suspension geometry to have very less camber change during bump & droop fixing optimum control arm lengths. Apart from this, I’ve done some other projects also which I’ve mentioned in my CV in details.
I’m excited to learn more about automobiles & various industry techniques through this internship program and can assure you that my never give up attitude, excellent analytic skills and curiosity about learn new things will be a great value to your industry. Please find my resume for your consideration, it contains not only a further description of my wheel assembly part design projects, but a more in-depth review of other related projects and experiences that I would be glad to discuss with you.I look forward to hearing from you soon and hope that you will respond positively.
Thank you very much for your time & consideration.
Sincerely,
Mahabisweswar Das,
