Dear Hiring Manager,
It is with great interest that I am applying for the software Intern at IBM. As a graduate student at University’, I feel strongly that my education, technical base and research experience working with computers meet the requirements outlined in the job description.
During studying in NYU, I consolidate my skills in Java and C++ by participating course projects. I built a file system checker using C++ and developed a chatroom client/server system and client/server mode game in java. I also worked as a research assistant in IDG for 3 years. I developed functional Matlab software in Linux for psychologist, neuroscientist and doctors according to their requirement in research projects. And I also improved my communication and cooperation ability in teamwork with people from different academic background with different requirements.
Now, I am ready to learn new technology. I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to bring my skills to IBM and I think IBM can help me improve myself in all respects.
