Junior Professional Associate
To whom it may concern,
I’d like to propose my candidacy for the recently announced position of Junior Professional Associate – Renewable Energy (RE) Finance, by IRENA. It’s been quite a while that I am interested in the activities of IRENA and apply from time to time for the openings with intention to continue my professional career in the area of renewable energy.
The announced position is under the scope of my interests because of different reasons. First of all, I am determined to connect my professional development to the renewable energy issues. The subject of renewable energy turned interesting with me after I had worked as junior expert of energy statistics at INOGATE project. This assignment considered monitoring of the energy statistics work plan in such countries as Ukraine, Georgia, Moldova, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Armenia and the middle Asian countries. Participating as component expert in the working missions in the above mentioned countries I gathered international experience in the energy statistics area and matters related to the renewable energy, energy efficiency and green economy. Work in this direction turned to be my future plan as well.
Another reason which motivates me to apply for the mentioned position is international assignment. I have interest to enrich my skills working in the international environment and I see it as a good challenge developing my skills and abilities do improve intercultural knowledge as well as the acquiring best practices worldwide.
Very important for me is also possibility of the position to work with data processing in respect of investments and from prospective of research and analysis. This approach of data processing and compilation or results is interesting since it is not usual qualitative assessment which I have been dealing in my current occupations, but is more closer to the data presentation and develops financial and forecast possibilities, to say nothing about model approaches which might me incorporated in this process.
Summing up all together I see an opportunity for my career and personal growth at that position. Being proficient in English and speaking other languages I feel that I could cope with the changes arisen in respect to the position and put my benefit in the working process as good member of the team.
