I would like to express my interest in the job announcement for the position of Manager-Women & NGO Division advertised for.Based on my education, skills and experience I feel I would be a good candidate for this position.

Through my working career, I have gained experience in the areas of business planning, operational management, HR, business development, fundraising, international education and budgeting.

During my last post at UNWomen I have acquired very good knowledge and experience in programme planning and management.I was in charge of the Programme Unit, managing and auditingof the implementing partners (NGOs)financial and technical performance.

Prior to joining UNWomen I have been working at British Council where I have gained very good experience in the education sector, operation management of UK exams and exams’ revenue reconciliations; both require exquisite attendance to details, finance skills, very high organizational / planning skills, and ability to multi-task and abide by deadlines.

My Organizational Development skills have successfully been put in use during my post with the Chamber of Commerce as Business Development Manager.

Whereas, during my 10 years tenure, with a leading Business NGO in UAE, I have strengthened my managerial, business development, fundraising, HR, community development and project management experience, while managing multi donor-projects entrusted to the Association to execute its implementation. In addition to building a wide range of contacts and networks with business owners, government officials and donor organizations to strengthen and enlarge the Associations’ activities.

All above work experience combined with on the job trainings I have received, will confidently assist me in meeting the expectations of this post.
