Dear Hiring Manager,
I am writing to apply to be an Operations Analyst under the Corporate & Investment Banking and Asset Management business as advertised on your company website and I discovered J.P. Morgan through Ntu’s Talentsite. I have recently graduated last December with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Economics (Hons) from Nanyang Technological University, with a CGPA of 4.11.
As an Assistant Underwriter at ACE Group, I coordinated Product Development within the Accident & Health division to achieve its underwriting profits through pricing, drafting of policy wording and compliance. To justify pricing are at an appropriate level, external and internal market research, and also product studies are conducted. Monthly reports and Claims Analysis are constantly reformulated and enhanced to allow for greater accuracy.
Assuming the role of a Marketing Intern at Huntsman Corporation, I conducted strategic market research and analysis in key industries, new markets and competition in a bid to establish new data into meaningful trends. Analytically, I also studied the intricacies of inferring key trends from statistical output and new marketing tools are explored to enhance the capability of the marketing team.
Helming the title of Business Manager in Ntu Sports’ Club also enables me to hone my business proposals and negotiation skills with clienteles; it also allows me to lead and organise logistical teams for canvassing purposes and at the same time reinforcing my people management skills.
I would love to work for J.P. Morgan and contribute to its success. With a myriad of opportunities and equipped with cutting-edge technology and innovation, I do strongly believe that J.P. Morgan is able to develop any recruits into a full-fledged Analyst with gusto.
Thank you for your time and I hope to hear from you soon in due course.
Yours Faithfully,
