The reason why I think JCM capital should hiredme instead of another candidate is because my personal career goal converge perfectly with the nature of the company and the job description which make me a better motivated person compare to the others and I see myself growing in that organisation.

In fact, in my career plan I wanted to work for a Canadian organisationsince I Growth up in Canada but which operate in Africa. In fact, originated from Africa I always felt the need, like most of the child originated from this beautiful continent, to putmy skills in profit of the development of the motherlands. However, After finishing my studies , I realised that there were not many organisation in Canada who had the kind of opportunities (especially in the financial field ) of working in big development project in that continentasI was looking for.This is the reason why I decidedto try to get the most experience in Africa to understand the local market, the needs and the actors and also to go abroad for my postgraduate education to open my mind in the different kind of opportunities the world can offer me to fulfill my dream. Nevertheless, by being out of my country of adoption after 18 years without moving from there, I realized during my studied that I was strongly attached toCanada and I still want to stay connected to the country and the best way to do so was to work for a Canadian company who has a certain focus on Africa.

The second reason which attracted me of building my Career in JCM Capital was the nature of the mission of the company. Indeed, it’sa good thing for me that a company operate in Africa but it also important that it contribute to the people there in a positive and sustainable way. Plus, when I was thinking about the kind of Company for which to work for; the three kind of sectorI was attracted to was theCapital market, the infrastructure and the energy sector .Indeed, according to many important actors in the continent; they are the three principal sector which is going to determine the success of the development of the continent in the future. Thereforeaccording to those condition, JCM was a perfect match for my needs since it focus in the energy sector and most specifically in the renewable energy which as a positive and sustainable impact for Africa. Therefore, by working there I would have the deep conviction that I am doing something good.

Finally my last reason, is that I am a passionate about financeand also the protection of environment. In fact, I have a strong background in finance since I did my undergrad in Finance and my MBA is also specialise in Finance. I am also planningto start my CFA in December. Regarding the protection of environment, I am very sensitive to it since I started going to visit my parents in Rwanda when they moved there. There, I learned the importance of respecting the nature because is most important gift that we have. In, fact the Rwandese government have a strong politics of environment protection and fight against pollution that should inspired many other country. For instance, they have this program called Umungada which is a politics where every Rwandese citizen have to go outside and clean the city every first Sunday of the months. This initiative inspired us myRwandese fellow in Canada and I that westart to implemented it through a Rwandese youth association in Ottawa (Cary Ottawa). Therefore once every 3 months we do A Umungada in Ottawa where we volunteer toClean the city of Ottawa with the help of different volunteering association and we also during the same day make different event to sensitize the citizen about the damaging effects of the pollution and solution against it.

In Brief, I can affirm that I am the perfect candidate for this position because of my background my conviction and my passion.
