With a background in economics and management education, I have an exposure to various projects related to research, field work and analysis. My projects in MBA have given me an understanding of qualitative and quantitative research. This experience instilled in me leadership skills and also introduced me to the concept of field work and data collection, data cleaning, data analysis and interpretation of the results.

I have seen the interiors and condition of local community especially with respect to maternal and child health. The PGDHEP program has a module on Epidemiology helped me further to develop an understanding of the reason behind unsatisfactory health outcomes and thus, I developed a keen interest for working in projects aimed at solving critical questions to improve the overall status of populations.

I am proficient in working with MS Office, STATA and know the basics of SPSS.

I wish to apply for this position because not only it is my key area of interest wherein I can contribute my skills but also more importantly the occupation will offer immense job satisfaction, as it aims at bringing about social change.
