Not only do I understand the visual demands of marketing content, I’ve had experience with the creating and promoting a brand identity. After learning more about Kellogg, I’ve strongly resonated with your passion for breakfast and making mornings better. Over the past few years, I’ve had multiple experiences that have enabled me to develop an understanding of fundamental marketing and design principles and the ability to learn quickly and communicate effectively. Obtaining an internship at Kellogg Company would perfectly combine my interests, skills, and personality. 

During my time as a Marketing and Design Assistant, I was given the responsibility to create logos, icons, sell sheets, and other marketing materials in order to communicate the brand to customers. Given strict deadlines, I learned how to efficiently go through the creative process in order to execute high quality work. I helped to rebrand the company and develop their website, creating a cohesive brand identity. Through my position as a Campus Brand Representative, I’ve gained experience promoting a brand through multiple social media platforms as well as collaborating with the team to develop marketing strategies specifically targeting college students. My experience with a startup on campus taught me about the fast-paced and ever-changing environment startups face as they grow. The ever-changing environment fostered when cultivating a startup prepared me to produce innovative ideas even in the hardest of conditions. My knowledge in this area would be a valuable addition to the position. My other experiences promoting chapter brand image for my sorority and representing a brand have reinforced my knowledge of the behind-the-scenes work that goes on when portraying a brand to the public.
