Dear Human Resource Manager

I am writing to apply to be a human resource staff on your company, according to job vacancy flyer from ITB career fair. I finished my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Maranatha Christian University in Bandung last October, currently I live in Bandung as well, yet I am mobile to go everywhere to attend your screening test.

Through my degree programs, I am familiar with an observational, interviewing and psychological assessment tools such as Pauli, IST, EPPS, 16 PF, Papi Kostick, Wartegg test, Daum test, etc. beside of it, I studied about the human resource management (recruiting, selecting, placing, do performance appraisal and training or people development), organizational behavior, employee engagement behavior etc.

Beside my university life, I also attended an informal education inside and outside the university. I attended a psychological assessment tools training in my university, but it’s not a university’s curriculum program, at that moment I trained to be an assessor of DISC, MBTI and SDS assessment tools and those of it has certificate. Beside of that I also finished my Korean language program, I learned it 2 years and it has certificate as well.

I was involved in international student organization, it’s called AIESEC, it can be called as a NGO (Non-government organization), it concern to developing a student by its programs specifically in overseas exchange program and student development programs. I spent 3 years to working with its entity, I took many roles start from marketing staff, HR recruitment staff and project leader. As a HR recruitment staff I have responsibilities to recruiting, selecting a candidates, maintaining a welcoming party, induction for new members and placing them to the function that fit for them, according to their own interest and their ability, then train them and do performance appraisal on every terms. I enjoyed to working with those kind of responsibilities, because I love to know everything and it is a rare experience that I can’t get it from my university. Beside those of kind of responsibilities, in my organization we have mentoring system, which is a senior member who have more experienced in organization should help a junior members to develop their self, encouraging them to reach their goal in organization and hearing what is the great barrier of their problems of their task, it is one of developing programs in my organization.
