Sample cover letter for Internship position at LexisNexis

POSITION:

internship business development

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am highly interested in the Business Analysis Entry Level position at LexisNexis and I am ready to commence work on a full time bases.

I see myself to be a self-starter, very self-motivated, well organised and ready to apply my numeracy, interpersonal skills and sound business judgment I have developed over the years.

My academic and experience in large scale financial projects and representing a host of companies in the energy, communication, precious metal and diamond industry in West Africa and the industry has built my confidence to communicate to clients efficiently.

As a sales assistant, I met my sales targets and managed to raise over £2800, which boosted my confidence to progress into an assistant developer role. I found and secured investors independently and supported my team to raise $14 million for a solar power energy project based in Accra as an assistant business developer.

I recently worked with the private equity Actis fund based in London. This experience excised my negotiations, problem solving techniques, analytical skills and the ability to handle multiple projects with strong attention to detail in a fast paced environment.

I am keen to gain an insight into your day-to-day business activity, implementing techniques and have more exposure to stakeholder analysis and value mapping which is of high interest.

I am available to commence now, ready to be a part of a team, grow with your company and fully contribute my ideas while following your values,

I look forward to hearing from you.
