As an MBA graduate from the Athens University of Economics and Business, from the major of Technology, Logistics and Operations, I would like to be considered for your Logistics Trainee job position. After reading with interest on the internet about this job position, I became very excited about the career opportunities and dynamic culture at Unilever. I was particularly impressed with Unilever’s ability to offer the resources and professional development opportunities. This impression strengthens my belief that Unilever would be the ideal place for me to leverage my strong analytical and project management skills to make a substantial impact in the consumers’ goods industry.

Few months before the completion of my undergraduate studies I had the chance to kick off my career in the field of risk management and insurance contracts at EVIMA Insurance Group. During my work experience I realized the importance of hard working and be consistent, skills that prepared me for the rigors of professionalism. I have also acquired strong analytical, communication and report writing skills coupled with experience in handling clients and delivering timely and accurate results. Furthermore, I gained the ability to act both as a doer and as a thinker, working with strict deadlines and accomplishing the best quality on my tasks and duties.

In addition, during my MBA training, I have focused on developing my strategic analysis and financial planning competencies, two areas which I know are critical for the Logistics Department.

Moreover, after the completion of my postgraduate studies, I started working for Plaisio Computers S.A. at the Logistics Department. During my work experience at Plaisio I had the chance to work at a multi-tasking environment, so I gained the ability to deal with many diverse projects simultaneously. Furthermore, I gained the ability to act and work as part of a team, in order to accomplish the best quality on our tasks and duties and to achieve our common objectives.

My professional ambitions are to excel on a business department especially in the field of Logistics and Operations, offer my applied business and academic knowledge on this particular field and be a part of a dynamic company with worldwide exposure. Furthermore, I would like to become associated with a company where I can utilize my skills and gain further experience while enhancing the company’s productivity and reputation.
