I am humbly applying to be considered for the above position in response to the advertisement that appeared on http://uganda.peacecorps.gov/ website. Am a female Ugandan with a Master’s degree in Public Health- Health Promotion and Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences (2012) and a certificate in Computer Applications (CCA).

Am passionate about working on improving health status of underserved population and interested working with volunteers to achieve the overall goals of Peace corps in Uganda. I strongly believe I am a suitable candidate for this role because of my unique qualifications, skills and experiences gained through coordinating Projects aimed at enhancing comprehensive HIV/AIDS prevention and care services through Biomedical (Screening and treatment of STI's, male circumcision and Sexual & Reproductive health services (SRH) and eMTCT), Structural (HCT outreach/awareness sessions) and behavioural change interventions (HIV VCT, counselling/Testing, condom promotion and Paediatric HIV care) in high risk areas such Bars, landing sites, Lodges.

You stated that the overall duties for this position is to assist with Project Development and management, pre-service and in-service training, volunteer support, etc, I can confidently do this having worked directly in collaborative team environments and people management and development in different areas and perspectives.
