Sample cover letter for Internship position at Mako Studios

POSITION:

Production Intern

Dear Human Resource Manager,

This is in reference to your vacant 2016 film internship. In the ever-changing world of media, you have to be adaptable and multifaceted in order to have a strong career. Currently pursuing a Film/Media degree as a student athlete, I have the ability to adapt to new circumstances. As the captain of our men’s basketball team, I have excellent communication and problem solving skills. I’m a forward-thinking creator and continually experiment with new technology cameras and editing software to achieve superior production outcomes.

You are seeking someone who can learn and adapt to tasks quickly, and that is exactly what I am prepared to do. With previous experience in multiple areas such as Directing, Camera Department, Grip and Art Department, I’m able to pick up new roles with ease. My work experience along with my ambition and passion for learning new things can be an asset to your company.

Sincerely,
