As a prospective graduate of the MSc Finance of Cass Business School in London I see McKinsey & Company as a great opportunity to begin my career. Both my undergraduate and postgraduate studies have provided me with the required knowledge to succeed in any finance role. More specifically courses in Advance Corporate Finance, Raising Equity Capital, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Trading and Market Microstructure among others, offer transferable skills that will hopefully be translated into making sound investment and management decisions in my future career. Additionally, having completed a training program at Olayan Group, a private investments firm, I have gained the specific experience needed to be successful in providing financial advice. More importantly my training coincided with the company restructuring its portfolio of investments, which gave me a great idea of the process, and provided me with invaluable experience to be able to cope with similar matters in the future. Moreover, during my internship in PricewaterhouseCoopers I was trained in both the consulting and assurance departments, where I had the opportunity to learn from industry experts and managed to complete my own projects for reputable clients.
