I am a Computer Science graduate student with Management as a minor at NYU. I am interested in the Business Analyst position at your firm. I perused the job requirements, and I am glad to state here that they match perfectly with my experience and technical expertise.

I was the Teaching Assistant at NYU for software engineering under Professor Fred Strauss till May 2014; therefore I am well aware of the software development lifecycles (SDLC). I can easily make modelling diagrams and requirement analysis documents which is an important part of being a Business Analyst.
As a computer science student I am exposed to the programmatic part of the applications and I believe this will aid me when I work closely with developers. I took two management courses at NYU which increased my knowledge of that domain. I am particularly fond of “Managing Tech Change and Innovation” which is related to the latest changes in technology and managing them in a firm.
Apart from that, I have good communication skills. I have always been good at debating and writing competitions in college. I interned at TransPerfect this summer and my manager always appreciated my communication skills and encouraged me to follow my dream of being a business analyst. It was another motivating factor for me. Also, recently I was a Graduate Orientation Leader for Fall 2014 students at Poly which allowed me to interact and manage 500 new students.
