Dear Sir/Madam,

I write to express my interest in working for your company as an intern and hope my skills and exposure can add value to your company.

I am a pre-final year student in the Department of Electrical Engineering, enrolled in its dual degree (B.Tech + M.Tech) course at Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.

During my four years of stay at IIT Kharagpur, I have explored various avenues and explored varied working environment, motivated by my innate curiosity and will to learn. Among these avenues, one which fascinates me the most is the fast-paced and exciting environment of a start-up, where I think my go-getting attitude, analytical ability, will to work hard and the exposure to different kinds of functions can come handy.

Pertaining to my work experience, I had been involved majorly in functions related to business operations, supply chain and data analytics.

In my second year, I had done summer internship at Tata Motors Ltd. Pune, where I involved in data analysis and done root cause analysis with the help of fishbone diagram to get problem solved. My key activities are well elaborated in my resume. I have also done some courses on Coursera related to data analytics which includes R programming, Data analysis and statistical inference and Practical machine learning. Also I have some knowledge about SAS software

I have also held position of responsibility being a Captain: Azad Hall Hockey team and Secretary: Hockey and Table Tennis, Azad Hall of Residence. Through these opportunities I was able to showcase my leadership and managerial skills, commitment to completing any work in conventional or unconventional way and an ability to connect to masses and influence them to get a positive response. Apart from academics, I represented IIT Kharagpur as a member of Hockey team in 49^th and 50^th Inter IIT sports meet.
