I am extremely interested in an internship with the clinical engineering program at UCONN during the 2016 fall semester. I am currently a senior at Miami Dade, where I am pursing a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering. My engineering coursework and research experience have sparked my interest in pursuing more in-depth knowledge about integrating industrial engineering into the medical field. I believe I am a strong candidate for this role.

Recently I have been investigating biomedical engineering and have become fascinated by the range and importance of the instruments and equipment that engineers design and develop. As I am in the final semester of my undergraduate academic career, I need to develop a final engineering project. It has always been my goal to carry out this project in the US, acquiring a great experience that will hone my skills and experiences as a person and a professional.

The international department at my university suggested that I contact those universities that have a memorandum of understanding with ITCR. Your university in particular caught my attention as you have a biomedical program that is quite innovating and critical for saving lives.
