I am an undergraduate student at Bain University majoring in Economics-Finance, with a minor in Mathematics. Currently as a penultimate student at Bain, I have demonstrated strong academic performance in academics by maintaining an overall GPA of 3.71.The courses I have completed towards my economics and finance major have given me a solid foundation with the tools, process and methodologies involved in the execution of finance strategies. For instance, a significant portion of my undergraduate studies so far has been on areas of financial markets & investments, intermediate microeconomics & macroeconomics and statistical analysis of business data. These courses have enhanced me with the ability to better understand and solve real world business problems. In addition, my previous internships have serviced as a good experience in preparing me for a career in the business field. In my recent position as a research analyst at Pure Leapfrog in London, I had the opportunity to understand and learn about the UK energy sector and conduct in-depth research and analysis on mapping out the current scale of community renewables within the UK. The experience not only enhanced my research and analytical capabilities, but also provided me with the necessary interpersonal and communication skills to effectively discuss my findings with my fellow co-workers. I am proud to say that that the findings of my project not only helped Pure Leapfrog define their future goals and targets, but were also quoted by many high profile energy companies in their quarterly reports as a point of reference.

After reading about Moelis & Company, I was much intrigued by your company’s name and success, and I would very much like to be part of such a winning company. I believe that an internship experience with your company would not only provide me with a valuable learning experience, but also a chance to work and build connections with extremely talented people. As a summer analyst, I am confident that I will be able to tackle real world business problems in an innovative manner.
