I’m writing to express my interest in PwC's Strategy& Consulting Associate Intern Summer 2016 Program. Currently a junior at Northwestern University studying Economics & Mathematics I want to challenge myself and get a deep insight into the consulting world. After speaking with people in the industry including those in the PwC network, I came to see Strategy Consulting as best suited for my existing skills, quantitative interests and personality.

After speaking with Northwestern alum and current Strategy& consultant Edward, I was able to get a slight impression of what it means to be working at such a distinguished establishment as well of the values of excellence and integrity Strategy& and the wider PricewaterhouseCoopers Network strongly maintains. Having lived in ndia before moving to the United States for college where I’m constantly surrounded by a talented and diverse group of individuals, the global diversity and environment at the PricewaterhouseCooper group family would be the perfect place for me to challenge myself, learn and grow.

At Strategy&, I’ll have the opportunity to work for a wide range of clients including Fortune 500 companies and while being surrounded by an extremely talented group of people I aim to use as guides and mentors, apart from just coworkers, I’ll be growing every day- both personally and professionally. After speaking with Nihar Bobba, Strategy& and the wider PwC network came across as the perfect place for me to apply what I’ve learned in a high-quality learning and development environment. As a part of the Strategy& Analytics division, I aim to use the descriptive and predictive analytical skills gained to incorporate into clients solutions to deliver the most promising business solutions.

Outside the classroom at Northwestern, I’ve had the opportunity to be a part of various student groups and in the process, strengthened my communication, leadership and teamwork skills. As the part of the Executive Board for Northwestern World Cup, I’ve led an amazing group of Organizing Committee members who have helped it become the largest student-run athletic tournament on campus. With my ability to think analytically and strategically, I am confident that PwC's Strategy& Consulting Associate Intern Summer 2016 Program would be the perfect opportunity for me to learn and to push myself to do better- both intellectually and personally. I am convinced that my motivation and experiences have prepared me for the challenging internship at Strategy&.
